A Edmonton Eskimos were the American ice hockey team that played in the Western Canada Hockey League from 1921 to 1928. A Eskimos beat a Regina Upper case to win a 1923 WHL playoffs. It were too a 1923 regular league champions. A Eskimos come within 2nd in the 1922 and 1926 WCHL playoffs. Team alumni include Eddie Shore. An Edmonton Eskimos team likewise played in the Alberta Senior Hockey League in the late 1930s. More teams in a ASHL involved the Calgary Stampeders and the Drumheller Miners; the latter team featured little joe Bentley brothers, 3 of whom played in the NHL and two of whom come enshrined in the Hockey Hall of Fame.
